The University of Toronto’s annual Festival of Dance takes place at the end of this month at the Hart House theatre on the UofT campus. Billed as the “largest university dance festival in Canada” it spans two nights and features a wide variety of dance styles – including (we think for the first time on the Hart House stage) West Coast Swing!  Members of our ‘Awesome Threesome’ Dance Team will be performing Friday, March 31st – curtain time 7:30 p.m.  Advance tickets ($12) recommended: buy here
See the calendar for more details.

“Westies Go Ga-Ga” movie outing is planned for Friday, April 7th at the Ted Rogers Hot Docs Cinema, near Bloor and Bathurst.  “Mr. Gaga” promises to be a behind-the-scenes look at the “process” of renowned choreographer Ohad Naharin, along with performances of his pieces captured on film over a period of eight years.  Starting at 8:45 p.m. – arrive early to claim your seat, get some popcorn and perhaps a beer or wine (in a sippy-cup!).  You can purchase your ticket in advance here.
