24OCT17 – Done!

I admit it, I’m a compulsive “to-do” list-maker – partly because it feels so awesome to check: done! Here are a few ways you, too, can share in that sense of accomplishment 😊

10th Annual CAMH Benefit Dance – Tuesday, November 14th

Make your donation in advance, online:

  • This year we’re directing all funds raised to support culturally relevant services offered to First Nations clients at the Centre for Addition and Mental Health (CAMH). You can watch a wonderful video about these services here
  • Online donations are automatically eligible for official tax receipts
  • I receive a list on online donors which becomes our “VIP List” on the night of the dance (so your entry is FREE)

Sign up in advance for the Jack & Jill Tournament ($15 per person):

Please bring a little extra cash on the night of the event for RAFFLE TICKETS!
(Raffle Prize donations are also welcome)
Facebook Event, or please see the calendar

Have you got your costume(s), yet?

  • Halloween-Themed Hustle & West Coast Swing Monthly Dance Party at Joy of Dance – Saturday, October 28th  Facebook Event or see the calendar
  • GroovyBluesyJazzy*RockStar* at the Dovercourt House – Tuesday, October 31st Facebook Event or see the calendar

Have you registered (and booked your hotel room), yet?

Are you a Zoomer? (a.k.a. “a Boomer with Zip”).   I believe Moses Znaimer coined the term, and he has carved out a sizeable part of his media empire to serving this demographic.
Check out the website:

The Zoomer *Show* takes place this weekend at the Enercare Centre on the Exhibition grounds.
New this year, there’s a Dance Zone!!  Recognize anyone on the Performers page?

Shelley’s Beginner+ students will be performing *this* Saturday and Sunday (October 28 and 29) at 1:00 p.m.

Could an impromptu Westie Bomb break out???  Lots of other fun stuff to see and do, I’m sure – for Zoomers and non-Zoomers alike.
